Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Everyone!

I sure hope you all had a safe and fun New Year's Eve. Personally, I spent mine on the couch, in the famous Wii Fit Yoga pose of Couch Potato.

Today I'm sharing with you some of my recycled digi layouts, which I've regurgitated special for my 2009 calendar. The calendar that, because I'm such a procrastinator, I probably won't have in my hot little hands until sometime next week.

I'm okay with that because I'm on vacation and I don't know what day it is anyway.

Who cares?

I haven't made any New Year's resolutions, but I do love the fresh start that a new year brings, don't you?

I have some goals for 2009, for sure. One of them I told you about earlier. Remember that? I'm going to conquer the chin-up bar in '09.

And with that, I'm sure, will come some changes. But change is good, right?

Uncomfortable, yes, but good.

We got the Wii Fit for Christmas, so Peanut Head and I have started with some of that uncomfortableness.

When we walk down the stairs, we yelp "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow . . . ."

Just call me Jelly Legs.

I also want to declutter my house and get more organized. But don't we all? I've found that this is a lifelong process. I'll never be done.

I also want to take more time for myself to read. I love to read.

If I take more time to read, I can do more book reviews too. I could tell you which books have the word smolder in them. Wouldn't that be cool?

What I really need to work on though, is separating myself from my computer a little more. The problem is that I use my computer for so many different things.

Many of those things are productive, but others are not so productive.

Like constantly checking my e-mail. Why do I do this? I think it's just another form of procrastinating, and you all know I'm the Queen of that.

Anyway, I have a few things to work on, but I'm ready to get started. How about you?

  1. I love your new header!!! Your calendar is going to turn out great. You rock at this digi-scrap thing.

Hope you all have a blessed and blissful New Year!!

  2. Happy New Year. Look how much you have already accomplished this year! (you've already got a blog post done)

Positive, Positive, Positive.... that's what I'll be (at least for the next few hours)

  3. Happy New Year Jill!

I also have goals that I have yet to put to paper. I'm thinking I may share them on my blog tomorrow. I have to work today :( but then I'll have 3 glorious days off! Well. I'm hoping they are glorius!!!!

  4. Your page looks great! Love the new header! Calendar pages are pretty cool, I see everyone doing the neat borders around their pictures. I need to figure that out! :)

    Enjoy your vacation!

  5. Happy New Year Jill! We have been sore playing the Wii sports I know when we get the Wii fit we will hardly be able to

  6. We have very similar resolutions, I seem to have the same ones every year unfortunately. Have a great one!

  7. Happy New Year to you too! I love the calendar pages, too darling. I too share much of what you'd like to accomplish this year, I just haven't written them down.

Oh, and I am all about smolder. Bring it on.

  8. Happy New Year, Jill! I shared my goals for 2009 on my blog this morning. Check them out.

BTW, I'm so jealous you got the Wii Fit. I keep looking for one and it's sold out everyplace....

  9. Hey Jill, Happy New Year! I hope it is a great one for you and your family. I love your new header and your calendar is precious. Maybe this year is the year to expand my horizons and hire you to teach me some digital scrapbooking. I really think this may be the time to jump on the bandwagon. :)

  10. I won't be getting mine done anytime in the next few days, so definately let me know how it goes and what you know, every detail. Thanks also for being willing to teach me. We'll talk soon.

  11. Oh, neighbor, I love your new header, too! Did you do that with all of your digitizing genius? I have been trying to work on mine, too......I think it might be too dark for my taste......still a work in progress.
Good luck on the Fitness and chinning to you soon.

  12. Happy New Year! Hope 2009 brings you and your family lots of love and blessings!!

All the pictures/layouts are so adorable, as usual, and I LOVE your new header, so cute!!!

  13. well good for you!
I dont have any particular new years resolutions this year either but just setting somethings aside to say you need to improve on is definetaly good enough!

  14. wow, you never cease to amaze me with your awesome scrap-booking skills. I love the fancy script that the word "Butt" appears in on the first page. The kids, the photos, the layouts, the captions--everything is perfect, right down to those cute little cookie-making smocks!

  15. Jill you are so cute! Geez do you ever get to go to sleep? So I am now blogging and I will blog stalk you now and get some creative ideas from you. I found your blog from the goody tin you gave my mom... and I just had to try some of your recipes, :) everything was so wonderful. Thanks for sharing, I thanked my mom already for sharing her treats so thanks for sharing with her lol. And to answer your question yes Burton has Buddy's eye lashes, the little pills I have little stubs and the boys get the lashes for days... go figure. Happy New Year!

  16. I love the butt sleds! Where did you get them?
I've been thinking about going to digital scrapbooking... I think you've just sealed the deal!

  17. Jennifer, I linked to the butt sleds in this post:

    We love them!
