Boy (Valentine?) Magnetic Bookmarks

Okay all you whiners out there, I have boyish bookmarks for you now. Just kidding about the whiner part. A reader, Jana, suggested it, very nicely I might add, and I thought it was a great idea. I don't have much boy stuff though, like none, so I had to buy a kit to make these. Had to. That's what I'm telling Peanut Head. Back me up here, will ya?

Anyway, here they are. Just make sure you click on them before you save them to your desktop.

Happy V-Day Peeps!

  1. These are awesome! Thanks so much.

I'm going to make some for my daughter's second grade class. I was wondering if you, or anyone else out there, had any ideas on how to incorporate them into a Valentine card with a cute saying?

  8. These are totally adorable, just like all your other bookmarks! Please, keep them coming! Hey, I wanted to give a little tidbit of info about the magnets. I don't know if these will work or not, but if they do, it will save you a lot money. Go to Home Depot or Lowes and look in the area with the a/c filters. They have magnetic vent covers that would provide a lot of little magnets for bookmarks. You'd just have to do a little more cutting.

  12. A friend mentioned your blog today and I popped over to take a look. Love all your ideas, recipes, and projects. I was excited to see that you do all of this and are a teacher on the side :0) As a fellow mom, teacher, and blogger I am wondering... do you ever sleep? Thanks for sharing (I've already sent the "I Love Books" bookmarks to the Costco Photo Center). So glad to have found you!

  13. These are so super cute! Please don't stop making these bookmarks. Your designs are wonderful. An idea, how about making some with a summer theme? For all that summer reading kids are supposed to do. Some images to include, beach balls, flip flops, umbrellas, sany beachs, palm trees, sand pails, maybe even some shark carnage!

PS I would love to use these to give to my book group, but we have some men, if you could . . .

  16. Hi, I just found your work and I love it! I am however confused about which content you are willing to share. You say to click on designs, save and print, but elsewhere there is a copyright warning. Please clarify for me. Thanks. laureljensen@gmail.com

  17. I absolutely love all your bookmarks! I saw them a while back and finally had a reason to use them. Thanks so much for sharing them! We've had a surprisingly positive reaction from the kids that received them too. I would have thought they'd be disappointed they weren't getting more candy, but these are fantastic!
