Surprise in the Mail!

I was making dinner this evening and my doorbell rang. Usually I hate it when the doorbell rings while I'm making dinner, but this time it was the UPS man and you know I always love to see the UPS man. The UPS man never brings me anything I don't want. It's always something good.

Let's see what's inside . . .

Oooh, it's my new Scentsy candle warmer from Jen. A couple weeks ago she gave away three of them on her blog and I was one of the lucky commenters. Can you believe that? I'm so excited.

I've never had a Scentsy anything before, and I've heard great things about it, so I was thrilled to get so lucky.

Isn't it gorgeous? She even gave me a Vanilla Cream Scentsy Bar. Sigh. I love her.

Teacher Gifts

With the end of the school year fast approaching, I wanted to get my teacher gifts prepared and ready to go. It always seems that the last weeks of school are so rushed and crazy, so I'm going to be glad to have this done.

I found some cute little Band-Aid boxes at the craft store, and I dressed them up a bit with scrapbooking paper and embellishments. And ribbon, of course. Lots of ribbon.

Inside I tucked a gift card for each teacher, a note from their respective monsters, and then I let the girls pick out a Band-Aid for a finishing touch. They're way excited to give them to their teachers, and I'm just glad I'm ahead of the game this year. Whoo ha!

Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps

Today I want to share one of my favorite Pampered Chef recipes with you. It's super easy to make and it's perfect for those hot summer days when you don't want to turn on your oven. The wraps are served cold and they're a refreshing dinner on a hot summer's day. These wraps are also a great alternative to the same old sandwich in your lunchbox.

This is the short-cut ingredient. It's easy to find and you can make the recipe several times with one bottle.

Here's the recipe card. I made this one with the For Her Digital Album Kit from Creative Memories.
