That aside, I LOVE your blog! Always have!!! As the mom of three now-grown boys, I love your sense of humor. Some people don't get it, (ours with our kids) but it keeps it real!!!

I still repeat your story of the Tower of Terror incident. That one was CLASSIC!! Blogs are wonderful things. Great for reminiscing around the Thanksgiving table...cause we all get older and would forget otherwise... hee hee...

Megan, I think auto-correct got the best of you... I have a 5 year old who never... yeah you read it and see if you don't laugh.

Anyway, I have one of those in 5 years kids. My oldest who is a twin is 13. One word answers are the standard around here these days and she is a master at eye rolling. So much in fact, she doesn't even realize she is doing it. Fabulous. I've heard horror stories about these teenage years, but I thought my sweet loving little girl would be spared. Yeah, not so much. Can I call the Mother Ship and have them come back and get her?

also- he was ninja with that same nifty ninja sword backpack fomr wally world. He loves it and wear sit every day. Im pretty sure he was only a ninja so he could get swords and daggers to play with.

OMG - the talk-talk-talking!! Just makes me want to beat them with a wet noodle!!! We call it Diarrhea Of The Mouth. The Lego King is a 6th grader (with me... Mwahahahaha) and we say that he is like his big sister, The Princess. When we would tell her to 'just shut up for 5 seconds! Puh-leeeze!!!', you could just sit there & watch her head swell. She couldn't contain herself & would have to start talking again. Lol

And Loud? Whew!! Had one teacher tell me that when there is a storm coming (a change in barometric pressure) that the kids get loud. So far it's proved to be true. We also notice that during a full moon they get crazy & wild. More fights break out then.

And yes... I do 'get' it... *snicker* How do you make Idiom Cootie Catchers? Might be something we can use in our class too.

At my school, I was shocked at how many kids had like 90% candy/chips/chocolate in their lunch bags. why aren't the parents putting more healthy food in? it's called a "treat" for a reason... gosh they are so hopped up on sugar, it's giving ME a headache. lol. and don't even get me started on my homestay student!
